Hi, I'm Andrea Colburn.
I am a mom to two kids at Chantilly High School and I am an enthusiastic photographer. I love capturing the excitement and emotion of sports, creating dramatic individual and family portraits, making seniors the star of their story, and marking important moments in families' lives.
I am also a mother of an autistic young adult whose joyful, beautiful connections to his family and the world around him can be difficult to capture in photos because his movements and expressions don't always outwardly show his authentic self. This is a common experience in families like mine and it's something I want to change. That is why I have become accredited as a photographer who specializes in working with individuals with disabilities through Heart and Lens.
The camera is more than a lens, it's an extension of the photographer's eye. I'm passionate about taking the time to learn about you and the needs you have for your photography session. Working together, I will be able to see what you see in your loved one, and help you preserve your family's precious memories for generations.
Let me capture all of your special moments!
